Notes: He’s qualified because: Much has been documented about the Knights’ linebackers, but it was Williams, the CMAC’s Most Outstanding Lineman, who offered a major assist by occupying multiple blockers as a nose guard.
He said it: “We always had high hopes, and this was his breakout year. And he played most of the season at 16 years old. He split double teams the entire year, which is what you need from your nose guard. He always had strength and power, but he figured out blocking schemes, used a better pad level and had a great senior season.” — Knights coach Donnie Arax
